What's new on greytHR

To reduce the workflow steps and let admins generate letters independently, in greytHR, letters can now be generated without requiring approval from an authorized signatory.

What has changed?

Earlier, every generated letter had to go through an approval workflow, even in cases where it wasn’t necessary. Now, admins can choose the “No Authorization Required” option while generating letters, so the process can move forward without waiting for signatory approval. Letters can be directly published to the ESS portal.

How to generate a letter without approval?

1. From the greytHR Admin portal, hover over the 9 dots and go to Employee > Admin > Generate Letter.
2. Click Prepare A Letter and select the letter template.
3. From the Approval Type dropdown, select No Authorization Required - The letter does not require approval or signing. The authorized signatory can be selected for signature, and the letter can be published to employees directly without any approvals.
4. Add Remarks if needed and click Next.
5. Click Publish to complete the process. The letter gets directly published to the ESS portal.

Note: Other approval types are also available if you need signatory approval or a digital signature.
