📝 Revised Assam Professional Tax Slabs – Applicable from April 2025
As per the Government of Assam's notification dated 2nd April 2025, the Professional Tax (PT) slabs have been revised and are effective from 1st April 2025.
✅ What’s Changed?
The updated PT slabs are now live in greytHR and will be automatically applied during April 2025 payroll processing for employees with PT state/location as Assam.
Monthly salary/wages (INR) | PT payable(INR/month) |
Upto ₹ 15,000 | Nil |
From ₹ 15001 - 24,999 above | ₹180 |
₹ 25000 and above | ₹208 |
⚙️ System Updates
Payrolls processed from April 2025 onwards will apply the revised slabs.
Payrolls for prior periods (before April 2025) will continue using the older slab structure.
