What's new on greytHR

As per the latest update from the Karnataka government, the Professional Tax (PT) slabs have been revised effective 1st April 2025. greytHR has already updated the system to reflect these changes, ensuring smooth payroll processing and statutory compliance.

✅ What's New?

Updated PT Slabs for Karnataka Employees:

• Salary up to ₹24,999 – No Profession Tax applicable

• Salary ₹25,000 and above –

• ₹200/month (Apr–Jan, Mar)

• ₹300 in February

🧾 Annual PT limit capped at ₹2,500

💡 Key Highlights

• Changes auto-apply from April 2025 payroll onwards

• PT projections now include ₹300 for Feb 2026

• Older payrolls (pre-April 2025) remain unaffected

• No manual action required—your PT setup is already aligned
